At All Purpose Notarization Services, we offer same-day notary public services at affordable rates. We have been providing notarial services in Alberta for 15 years. Our team of notaries public is fully licensed by Alberta Justice and the Solicitor General in accordance with the Notaries and Commissioners Act.
Before You Visit
Thank you for choosing All Purpose Notarization Services for your notarization needs. To ensure a smooth and efficient service, please review the following steps prior to your appointment or before walking into our office:
1. If you need a document prepared:
- We prepare invitation letters and statutory declarations for immigration purposes.
- Please call us and book an appointment for this service.
2. If you already have the document prepared:
If your document is prepared and requires only a notary to witness your signature, you can walk in to our office for notarization. No appointment is required.
Please note that documents must be signed in front of the notary in person. Any documents signed beforehand cannot be notarized. Physical copy of your photo ID (Driver’s license, passport etc) is also required for notarization, scans or photos of ID are not acceptable. Unfortunately, service must be refused if these requirements are not met.
Instructions for common types of prepared documents.
i. Invitation letters (please bring piece of ID and unsigned letter).
ii. Passport or Travel Documents applications: Please obtain an “Lieu of Guarantor” form from IRCC before your appointment.(Please also bring 2 passport photos.)
iii. Consent letters for travel:
- You can download the template and fill it out beforehand.
- Or we have printed copies in the office for you to fill out.
iv. Mortgages and Sales Documents: Ensure these are prepared by a
lawyer, we will certify the signatures.
v. Common Law Declarations: Fill out and print your declaration before your visit. Handwritten declarations must be in black ink.
vi. Power of attorney: Please consult with a lawyer and verify that the document you prepared is legally valid. We cannot determine if documents meet all the legal requirements, since requirements vary by each country and jurisdiction.
vii. Family Law Documents: We do not notarize separation, divorce, or family law agreements. Independent legal advice is required for both parties.
Important note
- Do not sign the document, any signature must be done in front of the notary
- Physical copy of ID is required for any notary services
Prices
We charge $40 + GST for the first page that needs to be notarized.
Each additional page is $20 + GST each. We can provide a discount
for if you need more than 10 pages notarized.
$150 + GST for drafting invitation letters.
(This includes the notarization cost).
